Costa Brazil

Costa Brazil was collateral damage in the Amyris bankruptcy. The brand was shut down last August. Founder Francisco Costa bid $350K for the brand and it is open for business again.

WHO: Costa Brazil is a clean luxury concept created by founder Francisco Costa and launched in 2018 to capture the rich, natural essence of his homeland of Brazil. All products are made from pure, potent, enriching ingredients, sustainably sourced from the Amazon, and activated using the latest laboratory technologies. At the core of Costa Brazil’s skincare rituals is an exclusive Jungle Complex consisting of mineral-rich Kaya, antioxidant-packed Cacay, and sacred, soothing Breu resin.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: Costa posted on the brand’s Instagram account, “Costa Brazil is back. I would like to express my deepest gratitude for the loyalty and partnership you have shown me since the beginning of this journey.”
